Heat Wave!!!

The forecast predicts nice weather for the next week!!!! Awesome! We could use some sunshine!

Whats going on:

Simeon is recovering from a broken collar-bone; he will return to kindergarten next week. Nada has started her ausbildung. I am teaching Wednesday’s and Sunday’s Bible Studies, teaching Business English, and studying to become certified for teaching English. SO…we are busy -to say the least!

The church: We are still meeting at the YMCA. In November we will reach the one year mark for our church plant!! The lord has blessed us so much with the people in Muenster! He has been moving on the hearts of the people_and we are so thankful to be connected with so many different people! It has been an awesome experience for us just to pray fervently and wait for God to open and close doors, to connect us with people, and to just settle in to an new place and live as Open, practicing and ACTIVE CHRISTians!!! Sometimes we think we are so ineffective but really when we are allowing the Lord to fill us with us with HIS grace and love “daily” and we are transparent…the Lord reaches people! HE does the work through us! And we get to partake! What an honor!

Thank you Lord!

next week: leadership conference and then we’re off to the usa

"the inner city"

Nada, the kids, and I went out yesterday for an ice cream on family day! It’s so hard to judge what you should wear right now around here in the Muensterland. Some days the sunshine makes it warm enough for t-shirts and shorts, and other days the wind and clouds make it cold enough for pants and coats. It can be very aggravating actually… as you can see… we decided something in between!

We are pretty busy right now, getting everything ready and packed for the states, cleaning and rearranging the house for guests who will be staying in our home while we’re gone, finalizing all the logistics for the church, communicating and planning with those in the states about our vacation, and all that while keeping up our regular schedules of home life, work and ministry! lol like I said… busy! Just trying to pray a lot, though… we don’t want to become so busy, we forget to pray. The Lord has taught us so many times and continues to teach me, that when things are going… take time, stop, and pray! Pray for everything! This gives me such a peace too, to know that God is involved and working.  We posted this in the bathroom to remind us:

Philippians 4:4-7 4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! 5 Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Espresso His Love…

Thats gonna be our motto~ coming soon

We’re praying about starting a coffee house in Muenster City!

we live to give our lives away…

have you heard the call? do you want to go? why, wait…trust the lord! where god guides, HE provides
